Rome is one of the Italian cities I love the most. I’m not exactly sure how many times I’ve been there, but I always enjoy returning, simply for pleasure, to rediscover it again and again. I love walking through streets and alleys I’ve never passed before, visiting places I haven’t yet seen, and getting lost in the beauty of its palaces, monuments, magnificent churches and the glory of its past.
In Rome you never get bored. The calendar of cultural events is always rich and interesting: countless art galleries and permanent museums, important temporary exhibitions, as well as theatres, concert halls, music venues and open-air performances.
It is the city I love recommending to anyone who has never been to Italy, because before visiting anywhere else one should spend at least a few days in the capital. It is also the city where I enjoy organizing business meetings, private events and tailor-made itineraries.
Rome is the capital of both grand hotels and charming small accommodations, perfect for prestigious events as well as for travelers who wish to explore the city at a slower pace, discovering its lifestyle through a more refined and exclusive approach.
It is the Caput Mundi, alive during the day and vibrant in the evening, animated in its cafés and venues, on terraces overlooking rooftops and the unmistakable domes, in famous squares adorned with monumental fountains, and in historic districts that preserve the heart of popular traditions.
It is also a city of flavor and cuisine, where culinary traditions are preserved while innovation shines through the stars of gourmet restaurants. Its aromas tell stories that span more than a century in some of the city’s historic places.
It is a blue sky during the day, and at sunset a palette of red, orange and golden hues over the Aventine Hill, the Pincio terrace, the Vittoriano terrace and the Imperial Fora.
And every time I leave, I say I will return, because Rome is Rome.
